A worn chain should be replaced before it begins to wear out other drivetrain components, making this tool an invaluable addition to your toolbox! This is a simple chain wear indicator that show when your chain has stretched beyond 1mm and requires replacing. If your chain is worn by more than 1mm we recommend replacing the cassette and to check the condition of your jokey wheels. The chain and cassette wear at the same rate.
