It is made from aluminium and is extendable with a twist lock mechanism. We are the first manufacturers to make a 3 section bivi pole like this and responded to the requirement to have a longer pole that didn\u2019t take up as much space as a 2 section pole in a rucksack. The pole adjusts from 58cm to 120cm and weighs only 195 grams. The basha pole is lightweight, durable and telescopic so it is easy to carry along with your other bushcraft gear. It features a wide plastic foot for a more secure placement and the length of the pole, as stated, is the total length including the spike at the top and the foot at the bottom.
