Cowls are made of stainless steel sheets in grade. Allows capping ventilation ducts, supports the chimney draft. Stainless Steel Chimney Cowls are made of acid-resistant chrome-nickel steel plates in grade 1.4404 according to DIN 17441 with a thickness of 0.5mm to 0.8mm. Fitting a cowl on top of the chimney is an excellent way of preventing the smoke from flowing back down the chimney and into the house. Stainless Steel Chimney Cowl specifically designed to easily terminate factory made insulated twin wall flue systems. The chimney cap protects the top of your flue from water entry, as well as animals and debris.
