BOLT ACTION - French Army infantry\n\nThe French army started World\u202FWar II as the most powerful army\u202Fin the world. Well-equipped, with\u202Fexcellent tanks and artillery, the\u202Finfantry divisions were numerous\u202Fand confident of fighting off the\u202Fhated Boche as they had twenty-two years before. This was not the\u202Fsame war though, and the French\u202Finfantrymen found themselves all\u202Ftoo often fighting off German\u202Farmoured units which had\u202Foutmanoeuvred\u202Fthem as the\u202FBlitzkrieg rolled across Europe. \n\nIt was for the honour of France\u202Fand their regiments that so many\u202FFrenchmen dug in and fought it\u202Fout against a more\u202Ftactically\u202Fadvanced foe. Resolutely fighting against the sweeping offensives of the German invaders, the French gave\u202Ftheir all\u202Fat\u202Fbattles such as Hannut, Arra, Boulogne and Saumur. \n\nMany\u202Fbrave Frenchmen went on to fight\u202Fagainst the Allies with Vichy\u202FFrance, ensuring admirat.
