It is an effective mould treatment for internal walls and ceilings that inhibits undesirable mould and mildew growth. It will also inhibit the growth and spread of harmful microbes and help to improve air quality in the home. Multi-Use & Versatile: The anti-mould paint is very versatile and great for mould prevention in many areas around the home. Although the emulsion paint is primarily used as a paint for walls and ceilings, it can also be used as a damp seal paint to cover and stop damp on walls & ceilings. It is suitable for use on various interior surfaces like brick, concrete, wood and plaster. Surface Preparation: The mould prevention paint can be used straight from the container on interior surfaces where mould growth is visible. Before application, whether you are using it as a wall paint, wood paint, kitchen paint or bathroom paint, the surface should be clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as grease, dirt, or loose material. Any visible mould should be removed first with an anti-mould spray or bleach. Coverage & Application: The mould-resistant paint can easily be applied by brush or roller at a ratio of approx 4-6m² per litre per coat. For best results, apply evenly for consistent coverage over the entire area. Avoid applying too much paint to the brush or roller. After 2-3 hours, apply a second coat of the mould-proof paint, as it should be touch-dry in room temperatures around 20°C.
