Our Secluded Red paint colour is a deep plum red hue with a gentle mauve undertone, reminiscent of a wax bloom on a Victorian plum. Starkly resembling the tones of an Acer palmatum ‘Pixie’ resting in a garden somewhere in Kyoto, Japan, this red shade can easily be found in nature and wildlife, adding a sense of familiarity and confidence, which can be easily transported to any interior colour palette. Secluded Red is also rich, saturated and dripping with drama. In fact, one of the inspirations behind this paint colour is the inside of Dracula’s cape collar in Bram Stoker’s vampiric movie masterpiece, so you could imagine what it will look like paired with some heavy velvet curtains and ornament-rich golden candelabras.
