PURPLE PASSION - Gynura aurantiaca Purple Passion Plant is also known as the Velvet Plant is a real evergreen perennial houseplant that has vivid purple and emerald coloured furry velvet like leaves. This unique mini indoor plant in a 6cm pot is air purifying and pet friendly. It matures quickly, growing from a small plant to a busy plant in no time at all, growing between 10 and 20 cm in height.SUNLIGHT - The Purple Passion Vine loves being in bright yet indirect light, so a North or East facing window is best, as this helps to keep its vibrancy. This tropical plant which originates from Southeast Asia looks great in a hanging planter or on a shelf allowing its leaves to grow downwards. This mini plant is great as a gift for any plant lover.HOW TO CARE FOR - Water your plant when the top inch or so of the soil is dry, and take care not to let it completely dry out. Gynura can be prone to root rot, so allow the soil to dry out between waterings and ensure the plant is not left sitting in water. Avoid wetting the plants hairy leaves and make sure to give it a weekly fertilise from Spring through to Autumn. During Winter reduce watering and in early Spring look at repotting.HUMIDITY LOVING - As Gynura thrive in a humid warm environment, it is a great plant to keep in the bathroom, adding colour and interest to the decor.
