Available in 11 width sizes. All edges are fully polished. Corners are dubbed rounded. Note: When the glass is fitted to the balustrade posts and handrail the total height becomes 1100mm. By design, the top of the glass is fitted flush with the top of the posts, leaving a 80.5mm gap between the top of the glass and the handrail. There will be a 100mm gap at the bottom, between the glass panel and the floor surface. See photos. Each Stainless Steel Post comes complete with the correct amount of clamps. Centre, Corner and Angled Posts come with 4 clamps each and End Posts with 2 clamps. Glass is available in the following sizes: ALL 10mm thick, toughened safety glass. HOW TO CALCULATE THE GLASS SIZES YOU NEED: When calculating the size of the panels you require, remember to add 85mm to the width between each glass panel, (where the balustrade post will stand). E.g. - Two 800mm x 900mm glass panels, with two end posts and one centre joining post will require a space of 1855mm, (85mm End Post + 800mm Glazed Panel + 85mm Centre Post + 800mm Glazed Panel + 85mm End Post). Refer to the example diagram on the left. The glass panel sits 40mm inside each clamp. INSTALLATION NOTES: Installing to a solid foundation is essential. We recommend a minimum fixing depth of 100mm for each post. Place all posts in the desired position, Use ALL of the fixing holes found on the base plates when fixing the balustrade into position. Use chemical resin with the fixing bolts if you have an unstable fixing point. Do not use power tools to tighten glass clamps or covers. There must be a minium gap of 3mm from the edege of the glass to the metal clamp once installed to allow for expansition , Maximum gap is 10/14mm. Our posts stand 977mm tall, (1100mm tall, including the joining spigot and handrail). The glass is 900mm high. By design, the top of the glass is fitted flush with the top of the posts, leaving a 80.5mm gap between the top of the glass and the handrail. There will be a 100mm gap at between the bottom of the glass and the floor surface once fitted.
