They were shared between Matt, Chong, and a friend. Only Matt’s plant survived the first season, and while he shared pods at a chilli festival, later generations didn’t all grow true.\nTo preserve the line without confusing it with the open-pollinated “Embassy” strain, it was given a slightly altered name.
