The ochre 8 wale velour rib stretch knit cord fabric uses a rib velour cord base with a plain finish, giving a clear fabric type, colour and design for project planning. The composition is 80% cotton, 15% polyester, 5% elastane, and the fabric has stretch and recovery for trims for cutting, sewing and handling. It has a medium to heavyweight feel and measures 155cm wide, so yardage, pattern placement and cutting layouts are easier to plan. The fabric can be washed at 40°c and is suitable for dressmaking projects. Use it for cuffs, neckbands, waistbands and stretch trims, where the handle, width and fibre content can help produce a neat, considered finish.
