The ochre 16 wale stretch woven needlecord fabric uses a cord base with a plain finish, giving a clear fabric type, colour and design for project planning. The composition is 85% cotton, 10% polyester, 5% elastane, and the fabric has a durable structured handle for cutting, sewing and handling. It has a medium to heavyweight feel and measures 145cm wide, so yardage, pattern placement and cutting layouts are easier to plan. The fabric can be washed at 40°c and is suitable for dressmaking projects. Use it for trousers, skirts, jackets and dungarees, where the handle, width and fibre content can help produce a neat, considered finish.
