The red stripe cotton seersucker fabric uses a seersucker base with a striped design, giving a clear fabric type, colour and design for project planning. The composition is 50% polyester, 50% cotton, and the fabric has a puckered textured surface for cutting, sewing and handling. It has a light to medium weight feel and measures 145cm wide, so yardage, pattern placement and cutting layouts are easier to plan. The fabric can be washed at 40°c and is suitable for dressmaking projects. Use it for tops, shirts, dresses and summer projects, where the handle, width and fibre content can help produce a neat, considered finish.
