Multi-functional chlorine tablets also contain algicide to ensure algae does not stop you from having clear water. The pH properties of the tablets will make it easier to balance water in hard water areas, making it ideal for use in outdoor pools. Used for the chlorination of swimming pools and spas, they kill bacteria, enabling a safe bathing environment. They contain Cyanuric Acid and are automatically stabilised to prevent the destruction of chlorine by sunlight. Also contains flocculants, which bind particles together so that a filter can trap them, producing clean and sparkly water. It has a pH close to neutral (7) so that it will have little effect on the pH of pool water.200g tablets are suitable for larger swimming pools. If you have a hot tub or a smaller above ground pool, 20g would be more suitable.
