It provides an easy way to test your track layout for proper power and connectivity before running your trains.To use the track tester, simply place the device across two pieces of track you wish to test. It will then detect what type of power is present - either the digital command control (DCC) system or traditional DC analogue power.If DCC power is detected, the multi-coloured LED light on the tester will glow orange.
