No spices added. No artificial flavourings. A genuinely revolutionary British spiced rum. SLOW FERMENTATION + WILD TRINITY YEAST = NATURAL SPICE – The "spice" comes from the rum itself. Raw molasses is fermented for 5–7 days with DropWorks' proprietary Wild Trinity Yeast — three strains living symbiotically together, exclusive to the distillery — to coax out the apple-pie, ginger and honeycomb notes most spiced rums fake with flavouring. Then distilled on our 8-plate column still to a velvet-soft base spirit ready for the wood. DOUBLE-OAK FLASH AGED — AMERICAN & FRENCH OAK CHIPS – Spice Drop is flash-aged in two oaks at once. Heavily charred American oak chips contribute sweet vanilla and a hint of coconut. Heavily charred French oak chips contribute toasted pecan and warm winter-spice aromatics.
