Limited 17-year expression, triple distilled from 100% Irish barley and non-chill filtered. Finished in first-fill sherry casks (only three casks per year) with cask-numbered bottles and high-strength bottling for a bold, refined finish. The Irishman Single Malt Irish 17 year old 54% ABV Nose: The influence of the Sherry cask is forever present, with notes of dark chocolate. Palate: Toasted oak and sweet sherried raisins gives a complexity that is satisfying to the palate. Finish: A combination of nutty oloroso sherry as well as a dark chocolate that begs to continue.
