INTRODUCING EARRAIGH: A limited release that honours the ancient celebration of Cónocht an Earraigh, the Spring Equinox, when night and day align and the energy of the earth comes into balance. NOSE: Matured in first-fill Bourbon casks before a long finish in Cabernet Sauvignon casks, Earraigh expresses aromas of ripe plums, blackberries dusted with icing sugar, toasted almonds and muscovado sugar. TASTE: On the palate it is rich with red fruits, subtle spice, gingerbread, fruit tarte and treacle toffee WHEEL OF THE YEAR: The Celtic Wheel of the Year is a solar calendar that marks the time and the seasons. It is divided into eight periods. Dingle Distilery’s Wheel of the Year series is set to launch eight editions, following the rhythm of the seasons, equinoxes, and solstices, plus a final release to mark Wren’s Day. DINGLE DISTILLERY: Dingle Distillery was really put on the map when its Dry Gin was named the World’s Best Gin at the 2019 World Gin Awards. But the Kerry-based is probably best known today as one of the leading new distilleries in the Irish whiskey boom. It’s one of the few in the category to only to produce expressions entirely with its own spirit.
