La Mère is an affectionate ode to the (grand-)maternal figure and to women in general. Each shape is unique and hand-modeled. All pieces are finished with a glaze in off-white or warm dark brown, almost black. As a third contrasting color, Marie has opted for a powerful Venetian red.
