Our Grass Seeding Rootzone 50/50 mix is a blended mix of our 10mm screened sandy loam BS3882:2015 certified topsoil and coarse sand, which is perfect for seedbed preparation and sowing a lawn in wetter areas. The 10mm particle size gives the soil great drainage, but the smaller stone/natural aggregate size allows seed growth.This mix's higher sand content provides more drainage, fewer compaction properties, and favourable conditions for seed growth. This product is also great to incorporate into your existing seedbed to give a more friable soil to work with.With a bit of care and attention, seeding is a cheaper option than turfing to create a new lawn area. Perfect for levelling up an uneven lawn before reseeding. We also offer a Grass Seeding Rootzone Topsoil 70/30 mix for sowing a lawn in gardens that do not suffer as much from wetter areas.One bulk bag of this product will cover an area of approximately 13m2 at a depth of 50mm. Please note this is a non-returnable item. Kerbside delivery will be made via pallet and pallet truck within the timescales listed above. You must have a level, hard surface to accept the delivery on (sorry we can't deliver on to grass or gravel).
