Its somewhat wider leaves and flowing growth habit give it a different and more relaxed visual character than needle-fine grass carpets.\nIt is an easy plant growing without CO2 under low to medium light and tolerating a broad range of water conditions. It spreads by runners, producing daughter plants that gradually fill the foreground over time.
