Working between Stuttgart and Zurich, the Hannes & Fritz studio brings together two talented young designers: Hannes Breuer and Fritz Gräber. Their collection of Weekday outdoor furniture comes from their eco-responsible project "Bench TWO" created in a few copies. This two-person bench with its reduced dimensions has been made from a single 3-metre-long pine plank, using all the wooden with no waste. The narrower dimensions than traditional benches allow it to be used even in the narrowest spaces without losing seating comfort. In collaboration with Hay, the designers from the Hannes & Fritz studio have expanded their project by creating a complete collection of benches and tables for outdoors to create a designer, original, durable dining area in your garden. These pieces of furniture are all made of FSC™-certified solid pine with a zero waste objective in the manufacturing process. The cutting of the boards has been perfectly designed to avoid any useless offcuts of wood. The wooden is painted with an eco-friendly water-based outdoor lacquer. The seats and tops are made of planks supported by a base with solid lines. These pieces of furniture have a humble, familiar appearance. The rigorous, strict forms are associated with a pretty palette of fresh colours. The Weekday collection features a mix of joyful intensity and remarkable sobriety, poetry and geometry. The benches can be accessorised with cushions sold separately.
