Gräshoppa designer table lamp – a versatile light source with style The appealing contrast between the colourful powder-coated lampshade and brass frame gives the Gräshoppa table lamp an impressive and contemporary look. The design, created by Swedish designer Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999), dates back to 1947. The designer, who lived in Europe and North America and focused on industrial design, was considered a female pioneer in the design world, which was dominated by men at the time. Her designs for Gräshoppa and the Cobra table lamp are considered design icons. The conical metal shade of the Gräshoppa table lamp can be rotated. This allows the light to be directed as desired. With its decorative design, Gräshoppa fits in with many current interior styles and can be used for a wide variety of purposes, for example as a reading lamp on the living room table or as a desk lamp. - Easy to operate via a toggle switch on the lamp base - Product of the Danish manufacturer Gubi
