The 9602 floor lamp (also called the Chinese hat) was created by designer Paavo Tynell in 1935 for the Finnish Hotel Aulanko. A great pioneer of Finnish lighting, Paavo Tynell (1890-1973) is fondly known as the man who lit up Finland. The 1902 floor lamp stands out for its superb blend of natural and sophisticated materials as well as the aerial form of its elegant lampshade.
