The Base, a large threaded cylinder reminiscent of an oversized screw, embodies the very essence of technical and aesthetic simplicity. But it's the ingenious mechanism that makes all the difference. Like a nut on a screw, the lampshade rotates fluidly around the threaded base, rising and falling, allowing light to be modulated with a simple gesture. The light, reflected by the Aluminium Lampshade, offers a warm, indirect glow. The higher the Lampshade, the greater the Flux. Thanks to this flexibility, the Set lamp adapts elegantly to any space, whether placed on a console, on a windowsill, or staged as a centerpiece in your living room. Designed by renowned Toronto-based designer Jamie Wolfond, the Set lamp is one of those objects whose beauty lies in their thoughtful simplicity. Here, the designer explores threading as a modulating tool, not only to adjust the height of the Lampshade, but also to control the diffusion of light.
