Muuto Flowerpot White Ceramic. Dimensions: W 26.5 x D 19.2 x H 24 cm. Made in ceramic, the Ridge Flowerpot was designed by Finnish studio Kaksikko. Heading up this Scandinavian label are Salla Luhtasela and Wesley Walters, a creative duo who share a common interest in functional, discreet shapes that highlight the tactile qualities of each material. The surface of the Ridge Flowerpot is adorned with raised ridges. These delicate grooves form a refined indentation and give the Ridge Flowerpot an organic, plant-like dimension. Subtle handles on either side make it easy to move around. Studio Kaksikko on Ridge: ''The idea for Ridge came from travelling around different cities, looking for details with an architectural imprint. Back in our studio in Finland, we started hand-drawing and making models in Paper and Ceramic. Ridge features an oval shape enhanced by refined serration. We added the function of a small handle to be used when moving the Vase from one room to another.'' The Ridge Flowerpot is available in three sizes. The size W 22.5 x D 15 x H 13 cm is ideal for small to medium-sized plants, herbs or succulents and perfect for windowsills, desks, shelves, kitchens and bathrooms.
