The Panton Wire modular shelving system was designed in 1971 by Danish designer Verner Panton (1926 - 1998), considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century. The shelves are made from steel wire, Verner Panton's signature material. Steel wires form a simple, repetitive geometric pattern that gives Panton Wire a dynamic, changing expression. Ethereal, the open structure is ethereal and balanced. Panton Wire shelves come in two shapes (cube and rectangle), two heights (H 34.8 and H 17.2 cm) and two depths (D 34.8 and D 25.7 cm). Units can be used on their own - as End tables or Bedside tables - or stacked to create variable-geometry shelving systems or space dividers. Each Panton Wire shelf is supplied with 4 Assembly clips, 4 removable legs and 2 Wall fastening stands. Placed on the floor, the Panton Wire shelf can support a maximum of 40kg. Wall-mounted, it can support a maximum of 10kg. You can accessorize your Units by adding an interior shelf or top Tray (shelf and top Tray sold separately).
