To make these gaiters as low-noise as possible, they do not include a membrane. In other words, they are not designed to be waterproof, but rather to reduce to a minimum the noise the hunter makes in pursuit of the game. They have a full-length Velcro fastening, with press studs at top and bottom, for easy on/off. There are elasticated drawstrings at the top to tighten them around the calves.
