Multi-Lite designer floor lamp: versatile, adjustable additional light source with lampshade in matt anthracite black and frame in shiny chrome The special feature of this floor lamp from Hausen is the design of the lampshade. The various metal elements - two quarter spheres and two cylinders in the centre - can be rotated around each other so that the light emitted by the bulb to be used either shines downwards, is emitted indirectly upwards into the surroundings or is emitted asymmetrically. In this way, a cosy atmosphere can be created as desired, for example in the seating area of the living room, which can always be adapted to the respective needs. Louis Weisdorf is the creative mind behind the Multi-Lite design. Die light illustrates the versatility that the Danish designer has acquired in the course of his work in a wide variety of fields. After graduating from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1954, Weisdorf worked in the construction industry and from 1961-1971 at the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen, where he held the position of chief assistant to the chief architect. At the end of the 1960s, he founded his own Studio in Copenhagen.
