Mirage 1/72 Pz Kpfw IV Ausf E - France 1940\n\nGerman Medium Support Tank\n\n20mm Scale\n\nBrand new, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : MIR72863\n\nThis is a superb example of the rare early production Pz Kpfw IV Ausf E introduced in 1940.\n\nArmed with a short barrel 7.5cm KwK/37 L/24 the Ausf E had a newly designed commander's cupola and increased armour protection over the Ausf D. Other modifications included a simpler sprocket and redesigned glacis hatches. Only 223 Ausf E were produced and these, along with Ausf D, were used in the Balkans, North Africa and Russia.\n\nThe workhorse of the Panzer Divisions serving from 1936 right through to 1967 in the Middle East, the Panzer IV started initially as an infantry support tank armed with the short barrel 7.5cm Assault Gun.
