4 x CORK BUNGS 50/43mm Cone Corks - Wine Beer for Demijohn Bottles Home Brew
DIAH - Do It At Home
CONE CORKS (BROWN) are perfect for aesthetic and safe closure of homemade brewing.\nUsage:All types of cork stoppers must be properly prepared for corking. Failure to do so may result in damage to the corks or corker. \nAt home, simply immerse the corks in hot water for about 3 minutes or place them covered over boiling water. This will make them more flexi, making corking the bottles easier.\nPlease note:Remember not to \""wet\"" the corks for too long, as this may damage them. After corking, the bottles should remain in an upright position for one day. This will allow the cork to fit into the inner wall of the bottle neck. Then we place the bottles in a horizontal position, which in turn prevents the cork from drying out (the wine \""washes\"" the cork) and ensures proper gas exchange between the inside of the bottle and the surroundings. After two or three days, check whether the plugs are not leaking. If we notice a leak, it will be necessary to replace the stopper with a new one.
