IBG Models 1/72 Type 89 I-Go \""K\u014D\"" Late & Type 95 Ha-Go\n\nJapanese Medium and Light Tanks\n\n20mm Scale\n\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : IBG72042\n\nThe Type 89 I-Go Medium tank was a Japanese design used between 1932 and 1942. The Type 89B was the world's first mass produced diesel engine tank. The main armament was a short barrel low velocity Type 90 57mm gun used mainly in an infantry support role to knock out pillboxes and fortifications. Lacking both the armour and armament of comparable 1940s tanks, the I-Go was regarded as largely obsolete by 1939.\n\nThe Type 89 had a crew of 4, commander/gunner, loader, driver and hull machine gunner. There were two I-Go variants - the K\u014D (\""A\"") which had a water-cooled petrol engine and the Otsu (\""B\"") which had an air-cooled diesel engine.
