This kit contains a 1" BSP male to 3/4" BSP female brass water butt adapter, PTFE thread seal tape, a nickel-plated brass bib tap with barbed hose outlet and quick-connect Snap-On male connector, plus a 34mm HSS hole saw drill bit. The heavy-duty brass adapter and nickel-plated tap resist corrosion for reliable outdoor use and make connecting hoses and fittings simple. For threaded tanks the male fitting screws in directly; for non-threaded containers use the included washer and back nut after drilling a 33mm hole to achieve a tight, leak-resistant seal suitable for water butts and similar storage systems. The barbed hose tail provides a secure push-fit connection for irrigation or pond filling, while the PTFE tape helps seal threaded joints. The 34mm high-speed steel hole saw cuts cleanly through plastic, metal and wood for precise installation.
