K2 Black Silicone +350°C 85g is a high-temperature silicone gasket maker designed for automotive, mechanical and workshop sealing tasks. It adapts to the sealed surface and helps create a flexible seal where heat resistance and fluid resistance are required. Suitable for gasket making, engine sealing, valve covers, thermostat housings, oil sumps, camshaft covers, water pumps, rear axle covers and other suitable components. K2 Silicone is designed to withstand temperatures up to +350°C, making it suitable for many automotive sealing jobs where ordinary sealants may not be appropriate. The silicone can be used as an alternative to traditional cork, paper, felt, asbestos and rubber gaskets when a flexible formed-in-place seal is required. The formula is resistant to oils, greases, coolants and similar maintenance fluids, making it useful for engine bay and vehicle repair applications when fitted correctly. To use, remove old gasket material and clean the surface thoroughly. The surface must be dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and old sealant. Apply a small amount evenly, remove excess if needed, then close the tube after use. The sealant starts to dry after approximately 5 minutes, becomes touch-resistant after approximately 1 hour and fully cures after approximately 24 hours. Avoid demanding use before full curing. Always follow the product label and vehicle manufacturer guidance. This product is intended for suitable sealing applications and is not a substitute for damaged parts, incorrect assembly, warped surfaces or mechanical repair. Keep out of reach of children. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and store securely with the cap closed after use.
