K2 Lamp Doctor Pad is an 80mm headlight polishing sponge designed to restore yellowed, dull, hazy and faded vehicle headlight lenses. Ideal for use with a dedicated headlight polishing compound such as K2 Lamp Doctor, it helps improve clarity and provides better control when polishing curved or complex headlight shapes. The M14 thread fits compatible polishing machines, while the supplied adapter allows use with suitable drills or screwdrivers. For best results, wash and dry the headlight, mask surrounding paintwork and trim, then apply a small amount of polishing paste to the pad or lens. Polish using light to moderate pressure, keeping the pad moving to avoid overheating the surface. Once finished, remove any residue with a clean microfibre cloth. For longer-lasting clarity, apply a suitable headlight protection coating after polishing. This product is a polishing pad accessory only and does not include polishing paste, protective coating, drill or machine polisher unless supplied as part of a separate kit. It is intended for polishing only and will not repair cracked lenses, internal condensation or damaged headlight units.
