This single-acting pneumatic actuator is ideal for quarter-turn valves like ball or butterfly valves. The rack-and-pinion mechanism delivers a minimum air-opening torque of 8.1 Nm (5.97 lb-ft) at 6 bar (87 psi) and a minimum fail-safe spring-closing torque of 5.8 Nm (4.28 lb-ft), with an input pressure range of 3 - 8 bar (43-116 psi). It fits ISO 5211 F03/F05/F07 valves with a 11 mm star connection. Suitable for -20 to 80 °C (-4 to 176 °F) with an NBR seal. The 35-micron hard anodized aluminum body and polyester coated end covers ensure durability. Features include: mounting holes for Namur 1/4 inch solenoid valves, a 80 x 30 mm interface for VDI/VDE 3845 limit switch boxes, BSPP air ports, stopper bolts to adjust end positions, a sensor mounting groove, and a clear position indicator. Lifespan 500,000+ cycles.
