This welding collar (plain collar) serves as a flared disc that is welded in advance around a DN 250 pipe end and mates with a loose flange to create a lap‑joint. This collar enables flexible alignment, ease of installation, and repeated disassembly, which is especially useful in systems requiring frequent maintenance. It is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and is ideal for aggressive, high-purity, or hygienic applications. The collar diameter is 273 mm and it is 3 mm thick. The welding collar is produced in accordance with DIN 2642 and it can withstand pressures of up to 10 bar.
