This DN 40 compact elastomer expansion joint is commonly used in industrial and municipal piping to absorb thermal expansion and contraction, compensate for misalignment, and reduce vibration and noise from pumps, motors, turbines, and compressors. The expansion joint helps improve system reliability and longevity, making it a great choice for installations with limited face-to-face length. Made from durable EPDM bellows reinforced with synthetic fibers and equipped with swivel steel flanges, it provides a secure, self-sealing connection. It is suitable for temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +105 °C, depending on the operating pressure. The flanges are rated PN 16, with a working pressure of up to 10 bar (up to +90°C) and 8 bar (up to +105°C). Burst pressure is at 45 bar (for intermittent loads, the max. operating pressure must be set 30% lower).
