This DC electric bell demonstrator is specially designed for classroom physics courses to visually display internal construction and elaborate the complete operating mechanism of electromagnetic driven electric bells. The finished unit is assembled from core parts including electromagnet assembly, movable armature, metal bell body and stable base to restore the authentic structural composition of traditional DC electric bells. Link two terminal posts to a 4~6V DC power source via connecting wires; the bell will ring once powered on. Users may fine-tune the gap between adjusting screw and spring shrapnel if abnormal vibration happens for smooth contact and separation. Strictly control input voltage and avoid prolonged continuous energization; sand off oxide with emery cloth when poor contact occurs between shrapnel tip and adjusting screw to restore normal operation. Hands-on experimental testing combines textbook electromagnetic theories with real physical phenomena, facilitating in-depth observation and exploratory analysis of practical electromagnetic application rules.
