The 7.5mm translates into a 15mm focal length in 35mm full-frame format and as such, is ideal for wide-angle photography such as landscape, architectural and astrophotography. The lens structure is comprised of 13 glass elements arranged in 9 groups, including two Aspherical and three ED lenses that help to reduce spherical & chromatic aberrations. It features a rectilinear design that effectively renders scenes with straight vertical lines, and it has a close minimum focus of just 12cm which further increases the versatility and flexibility of this lens.
