The Laowa 14mm f4 FF RL Zero-D is an ultra-wide prime lens that is ideal for the likes of landscape, architectural and travel photography. The lens features an advanced optical structure that is made up of 13 glass elements, arranged into 9 groups including the use of 3 Aspherical, 2 UHR and 3 Extra-Low Dispersion premium lens elements. The rectilinear design choice has been used as it helps to remove optical distortions that can often be found in wide-angle lenses, and it is this that makes this lens great for architectural photography as it maintains straight lines within your images. Finally, the five-blade diaphragm produces distinct and beautiful 10-point sun stars in your out-of-focus areas and this can be truly utilised with the flexible F4 to F22 aperture range.
