The adapter allows C-mount lenses (e.g. 16mm movie cameras, CCTV cameras, trinocular microscope phototubes) to be used with Sony E-Mount camera body for great picture quality.\n\nAlthough the lens will fit physically, there is no electrical connection between the lens and the camera body so automatic diaphragm and auto focusing are not retained; you must therefore use 'stop-down mode' when metering. Use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode (M) or AV mode in auto exposure, but the aperture display is not available. Select MF assist function to focus accurately (7x or 14x zoom focus). Infinite focus is available.\n\nNote: Shoot without lens function must be turned on.\n\nUsK
