Riich Models 1/72 M109A2\nUS 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer\n20mm Scale\n \nBrand new, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : RT72002\nThe M109 was introduced in the early 1960s to provide indirect fire support to armoured and mechanised infantry divisions. It has a crew of six. The M109 has seen a number of modifications. The M109A2 is armed with a 155mm M185 cannon in a M178 gun mount with stowage increased from 28 to 36 rounds. The .50cal has 500 rounds. It can be identifed by the short barrel, double muzzle brake and large fume extractor. British M109 have recently been replaced by AS-90 and European M109s by the German PzH2000. \nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
