The Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro Multi Test Kit allows the reef keeper to measure the level of calcium, magnesium and the alkalinity in your reef aquarium. All of these elements need to be available in balanced proportions for sustainable successful coral health and growth. Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium and carbonate are the basic components of coral skeletons and therefore need to be available in balanced proportions for positive coral health and development. As the coral in your reef tank grows the levels of these key elements are diminished and so need to be topped up over time. This Red Sea multi test kit is a combined kit including high accuracy titration tests for measuring Calcium, Magnesium and Alkalinity (KH). This enables the reef keeper to accurately dose the full Red Sea's Reef Foundation range: A (Calcium), B (KH/Alkalinity), and C (Magnesium). It is important that these are calculated and dosed accurately as otherwise a build up of some of these elements can lead to fish stress and other health problems.
