Lindab Magestic is an enhanced galvanized steel material for rainwater systems and standing seam applications, offering trusted Lindab designs with a strengthened magnesium zinc alloy coating. Magestic provides elite surface protection, making it ideal for coastal environments. This eco-friendly material minimizes zinc resource usage, with less than 25% zinc runoff compared to hot-dipped galvanized steel. The magnesium development forms a stable barrier protecting zinc from corrosion. Salt spray tests show the highest surface protection among metallic-coated steels, with over twenty times the corrosion resistance of hot-dipped galvanized steel. Unpainted metal gutters weather naturally to a dark grey metallic appearance within 3-5 years. Magestic's corrosion resistance is unaffected by chlorine and offers three times more protection than standard galvanization in marine environments.
