By connecting an AXIS T8129 for every extra 100 m (328 ft) of cable. both Ethernet and PoE can be extended to even greater distances; depending on camera model and power source. AXIS T8129 does not require any additional power supply and the connected network camera is fed by a single PoE switch or midspan. simplifying installation. It offers two Ethernet ports. both configured automatically for link speed. duplex and crossover and the full-rate network throughput is maintained.
