Templers Telux is a general purpose Soldering flux used for capillary joints on copper pipework, brass and mild steel and other metals. It is supplied in 50gram, 250gram, and 450gram containers. Telux is  listed for use with both hot & cold water including potable water. It is also suitable for use with gas pipework\n\nNormal Usage\n\nRemove any scale and oxide with emery cloth or wire wool. Wipe joint areas clean. Smear a thin film of Telux to both surfaces and assemble. Apply heat with soldering iron or blowtorch adding solder as required. Allow to cool and set, then wipe clean whilst still warm.\n\nHandling Instructions\n\nIn normal use it is advised that a suitable barrier cream be used to protect sensitive skin.\nAvoid inhaling fumes where possible - our tests have shown the fumes to be relatively harmless.\nDo not ingest - avoid skin and eye contact.
