Special Order item! Limited edition Year of the Tiger Fountain pen, part of the Chinese Calendar collection from Caran d'Ache. This pen celebrates the Year of the Tiger in 2022. Brass body covered in glossy black Chinese lacquer with the shape of the tiger in orange lacquer applied layer by layer using techniques handed down through generations. Engraved with Chinese Lacquer in Chinese on the end of the pen. Pen ring engraved with the Caran d'Ache and Swiss Made logos. The top of the cap is engraved with a number 'xxx/888'; the number 888 is a Chinese lucky number and a symbol of ultimate balance. 18-carat gold hand-polished nib available in medium. Presented in a wooden box covered in glossy, screen-printed black lacquer. Supplied with two blue ink cartridges and a piston pump. Measures 138mm closed and 160mm when the cap is posted.
