This replacement filter is designed for LifeStraw Go 2-Stage Water Bottles featuring a flip-top mouthpiece and carabiner, as well as LifeStraw Universal models. It is not compatible with the newer LifeStraw Go Series bottles with tote-style handles. The filter effectively removes bacteria like E.coli and Salmonella, parasites such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, microplastics, chlorine, organic chemicals, and sediment, while enhancing water taste. Tested independently, the durable membrane filter treats up to 4,000 litres, and the activated carbon lasts for 100 litres with proper care.
