Fiberglass rescue hooks: Our rescue poles are made of insulating fiberglass. The hooks are made of steel and encased in insulating, heat-resistant shrink tubing to optimize protection for others and yourself. Load capacity 80 kg/176 lbs: The rod diameter is 3.8 cm (1 1/2 inches), the load capacity is 80 kg/176 lbs, and the hook opening is 45 cm (17 7/10 inches).
