DESIGN: Rectangular shaped steel striker made of high carbon steel DIRECTIONS: Hold the flint in your left hand if right handed and vice versa if left handed, strike the edge of the steel down the edge of the flint to create sparks MATERIAL: These are made of high carbon steel. This is the best material for creating sparks. However, as it is high carbon it rusts easily. So the steel will arrive oiled in a bag, and there may be some surface rust. This is not a problem, in fact it demonstrates the quality of the material for it's purpose. Simply wipe off the oil and it will be ready to use. SIZE: 9.5cm long by 3.5cm wide SAFTEY PRECAUTIONS These are designed to create sparks so fire safety precautions must be taken. They should only be used by adults or children under adult supervision. Do not use indoors. Wear suitable protective clothing to avoid injury from sparks.
